I truly believe that just looking at it, or taking a picture we probably would not see anything different. I feel it is the same as Mount Shasta. To look at it seems solid, yet UFO's seem to fly into it. Same goes for the Bermuda Triangle phenomenon where people just disappear.

I feel it is an illusion that until you are actually flying or sailing into you would not know there is anything there. Admiral Byrd did not say he could see any hole below him. He just kept flying and all of sudden there was mountains in the distance and then vegatation and then he saw mammoths.
