I'll say what I think- being a moderator doesn't preclude me from voicing my opinion. Freedom of speech is what Avalon is all about, or hadn't you noticed? That's why you're free to voice your opinions, no matter what I or anyone else may think of them. That's what free speech IS.
And of course you're right, Obama isn't Hitler. I didn't say he was, I was making a comparison. Hitler wasn't Stalin either, but the end result was much the same. The fact remains that the Catholic Church was right behind the fascist regime in Germany, and now it appears that a simililar situation is planned in the USA.
The military (which your constitution states should never be used as a domestic police force) will take your weapons (which your constitution states should never be taken from you) under the guise of protecting you, and the Church will do their best to make sure nobody complains or does anything about it.
If you do some research on the Nazi's rise to power you might notice a lot of striking similarities between that period in Germany and what's happening now in America and around the world.

The purpose of this place is not to big-up Obama. Just because you believe what he says doesn't mean everyone else has to, and it doesn't mean we shouldn't say that we don't either. That ISN'T free speech.
For what it's worth I'll be absolutely DELIGHTED if you're right. So lets hope that you are, for all our sakes.
