I've been accused of being cynical, and maybe I am. But it looks to me like a psy-op.

On the one hand the BBC (just like our Illuminati owned government) aren't lifting a finger to help the Palestinians, and the reason they give is that it might harm their reputation for being impartial. In other words, so we the public can continue to trust them: it's for our benefit and for the greater good. Noy helping with the appeal proves we can trust Auntie Beeb.

On the other hand it reinforces the entirely false idea that they ACTUALLY HAVE editorial impartiality about anything of any real substance in the first place.

And to put the cherry on the cake it diverts attention away from the appeal itself and focuses the debate on the BBC's decision. If they supported the appeal they would inevitably have to show the suffering caused! Think of all the reports we've seen on starvation in Africa, the brutality of Mugabe during the elections in Zimbabwe etc. I don't recall seeing much of THAT type of BBC reporting on Gaza since the IDF started blowing up schools and hospitals. I wonder why. They would also have to give details of donations lines, websites etc so people could contribute- this way people have to go and look for the info, which will inevitably reduce the number of donators.

It looks to me like they are refusing to help the thousands of innocent people suffering in Gaza and they're trying to convince us that it's a good and honourable thing to do.

I call that mind control. If that means I'm cynical then so be it. Either way it's more bad news for the Palestinians.
