Re: Interview with Stanton Friedman - Helium 3
I'm glad you're all enjoying it. I met Stanton a couple of years ago during one of his speeches. Of course, you can't expect to engage one on one with hundreds of people around you. However, after the interview, I have to say I have more admiration for him than ever before. He answered every question as candidly as he could. Being a scientist, he said he didn't know when he didn't have the facts to prove something (i.e., STS-75 Tether Incident).
And you are absolutely right. He seems very sincere and we even laughed at the whole speculation of him being a CIA disinformation agent (although I jokingly said: "Not that you would tell us!"). I had lots of fun and look forward to having him again in the future. He knows his stuff; especially when asked about helium-3.
I was also impressed with the questions the audience came up with. They were all carefully formulated and that's why I didn't want to close at the 2-hour mark. Next week I'll have Dr. Edgar Mitchell. That will be an interesting one.
Thanks again for listening for your comments!
