my thoughts are this - If they cannot approach you in the bright light of day, from a far enough distance for you to feel unafraid, and be open and honest about what they want, why they want it and how you fit in, they are not to be trusted.
In an experiment, a scientist picks up a guinea pig, injects it and puts it back. Does this mean the scientist should be trusted by the guinea pig because hey, it got put back didn't it?
The answer lays in their intent and lack of respect to humans and treating us as test animals.
