for the laptop that has lost its sound
did you check to see, if you hit the "mute"' key
and, then un-mute it ???

or...if a sound file fell out,
and, you can reload it online ???

oldpaganfreak -- i think it is mostly audio

i could always call you, and, you could listen to it via the phone

i wish more people would create things on audio books
& i am sure dial up sucks !!!
why NOT go on a satelite ???
i don't think it is that much more expensive

recently i purchased
2 books, that were over 1000 pages
and, got them on audio book

that was a real treat for my ears,
and, NOT having to utilise my old eyes
