Great recommendations....lots of good reading here, i read a few books a week so should be do-able.
One thing I'd say though: i often see a recommendation for "Handbook of the New Paradigm", the George Green effort (although for good reason he doesn't put his name on the front cover)....my verdict? It is almost completely unreadable....it professes (on the back cover) to be a book "to lift mankind from the entrapment of victim consciousness" blah blah...but it just made me unconscious, ready to slit my throat....as an example of bad writing, it is hard to beat. It repeats its almost indeciferable message over and over, but its hard to find the wisdom amongst the rambling undisciplined writing. This is not a book which will raise your awareness of anything except the art of bad writing.....there are so many better books around already mentioned in this thread..and see also my thread on Project Camelot.
