Dog like faces and human bodies ... sound like the Egyptian God Anubis.
Also reminds me of a story that we were guided to earlier in the Thread by K. If you look back and read the story it relates to dogs/wolfs changing into human form and back again. Perhaps I should go and re-read this now.
