Have you tested it yourself? I did to prove it to myself for ****s and giggles(that and I couldn't sleep), just after making the previous post. It didn't do a damn thing...

You can get electrolytes from an onion in very small quantities, but it's very unlikely you can charge anything from it, let alone an Ipod. Mythbusters did a segment on it (probably still available...
