i live in alberta, where the vast majority of your import petroleum comes from and we pay currently 86 cents per litre, about 330 per us...

yes, and i know how to use them.
for one thing, i hunt for food. i live in an area where large animals are common. i had to kill a bear last summer on my front porch. guns are important tools.
