Who Killed the Electric Car?

They had them made. They were on the road. The electric car, and those who drove them, loved them.

But the OIL companies couldn’t make a dime.

And so Detroit took all the electric cars away and destroyed them, crushed them. In 2005, the last EV1’s were taken away to be destroyed.

How sick is our auto manufacturers? How sick is our government?

Watch “Who Killed the Electric Car”.

Yes, an excellent DVD indeed! I bought it and gave it to my old man as part of his present a year or two back! If its free online, even better! A very good and entertaining watch, even though it will annoy you!

GM may be sick, America's Congress may be stupid and sick to want to bail out GM... but here is what they're doing outside of America!

Making sensible cars! ZERO Emission, No Noise.

In Canada. Hurrah to Canada!

Watch this: http://www.flixxy.com/zenn-electric-car.htm

It plugs into any electrical outlet. No electric charging station is needed.

I would buy one today if I could.

If GM went out of business, then who would make the presidents Cadillacs?

There would be too many people without jobs if GM was allowed to go bust. According to Wikipedia, they employ 266000 people worldwide.

GM are also bringing out an electric car in 2010, the Chevrolet Volt. Most car companies that are introducing electric cars are bringing them to the market at the same time too.

I'm not sure why GM is in such bad debt, they seem very successful with their Opel/Vauxhall, Chevrolet, Daewoo, Hummmer ranges. Maybe the others like Buick, Pontiac, GMC, Holden, Saab and Saturn need to go or be trimmed down so that cars that sell remain.

What ever happened to Tesla's (the inventor, not the car brand) electric car that was powered from energy in the air that no-one knew about and still doesn't?

You asked who killed the electric car. If your really interested be forwarned you will get mad over it. In a nut shell GM killed the electric car and then came out with lies that it was the battery that couldn't be used for more than 60 miles at a time. GM owned controlling interest in a battery they turned around and sold to Chevron and Texaco to. If you don't believe me do your own research. :mad3:

The inventor of the battery GM sold to the oil companies is Stan and Iris Oshinsky.

Attached are the links to the truth. enjoy

This is the reason why I don't by a GM vehicle and don't use my Chevron/Texaco credit card I've had for the last 20 years and will never. I look forward to those companies going out of business.
I have no pitty for those industries that don't look to better the world.
