I received the following email message from Marcos Herrera plus photo on October 10, 2008.

I am a faithful reader of your web page and I want you to see this picture taken a few months ago in Santiago, Dominican Republic. It is a friend of mine who took the picture and when he uploaded it to the computer he saw this UFO which appeared on it. - Marcos Herrera

I sent Marcos a few questions and received his reply today - October 17, 2008.

When was this photo taken?

This picture was taken on early March of this year. The picture was taken around noon at the "Monumento a los Herores de la Restauracion" (Monument to the Restoration Heroes) in Santiago and is looking North-West. The mountain in the back is "Pico Diego de Ocampo".

The picture was in the Dominican Republic at the "Monumento a los Herores de la Restauracion" (Monument to the Restoration Heroes) in Santiago and is looking North-West. The mountain in the back is "Pico Diego de Ocampo".

What type of camera was used?

It was a 5.0 MP digital camera and the photo was taken at 3.0 MP resolution.


Do you have any additional information?

The guy's name in the picture is Erick Ramirez. He came from La Vega to Santiago on that same day riding on the bike seen in the pic and because he is not a professional bike rider he told his friend Kenny Jimenez to take a picture of him in order to show his daughter that he had achieved the goal.

Analysis of the Photograph

I have carefully examined the photographed and have noted no obvious attempts to alter or hoax the photo. All attempts using Adobe Photoshop filters have only reinforeced my belief that the photograph is genuine.

I sent the original copy of the photograph and he too agrees that the object does indeed appear to be authentic.

While no one can state to a 100-percent certainty that the photo is real, it is my opinion that the object in the photo was not created or manufactured - but an unknown object simply caught by the digital camera.

Yes very nice picture.
It seems a lot of Extraterrestrial Ships have cloaking technology.

There might be a lot of those Ships actually in our Sky but could be invisible to the naked eye.
So it depends on your luck to photograph one of them by any chance.
