The bailout failed in the House...Dow is in freefall.

it's not gunna pass, dow has dropped almoast 700 points and the vote is at 224 saying nay and 202 saying yea

On the thread for signs of total economic collapse one of the things to watch out for was a drop of over a thousand points in one day. Or consecutive mergers on back to back days.

Rep. from Texas just approached the chair to see if they would reconsider a revote. Chair said it would be immediately dismissed I believe.

They voting now on "Motion to suspend the rules and Pass" so far, looks like YES, 336 Yes/ 4 No.

That's for a completely different bill. It has nothing to do with the bailout bill. The House has moved on to other business.

The bailout wouldn't have saved us from this...today the power elite got a kick in the gut, and that's all. They didn't get their way, like they are accustomed to doing, but tomorrow is another day...they were punched in the gut...not beheaded.
