The art of touch

Sensual healing restores the spirit and our passions deep within.

For couples this is essential IMO though the technique may be adapted to be done by yourself using feathers or just your own hands....

The healing begins with touch and breath. Breathing and feeling into areas of your body which are blocked or perhaps you are feeling disconnected from

The goal of sensual healing is to lovingly connect you with all parts of your being.

Body, mind and soul. (physical, intellectual and spritual)

This is a connecting ritual that uses touch and breathing to connect you with your Creator, Mother Earth and your heart.

It is important to be fully grounded ,to help the flow of emotion move through you. Be as clear of mind as possible, and remove all distractions from the room.

It is ok for you to remain fully clothed but nudity removes the barriers of the ego. We were all born naked and vulnerable.

Lie quietly, uncovered, on the your bed for a few minutes without anyone being present.

Allow your vulnerability to be felt.

Breathe slowly

Your ego does not like to let go of control , it may make you feel quite uncomfortable.

Breathe into this...trust... this feeling, too, will pass.

Lay face down when your partner enters the room, they should use light fingertip strokes over your back, shoulders your scalp.. while gently speaking calming words, humming or softly singing...but somehow asking you to connect your breath to follow the touch.

"breathe in as my fingers stroke down, breathe out as my fingers stroke up "

Allow any emotion that presents itself to be felt… breathed into… allowed… then released, through your breath.

Perhaps you have repressed feelings and it might be a little unsettling for you when you begin to allow yourself to feel.

Be gentle with yourself...

Breathe, and allow yourself to be.

Sometimes there are tears.

The key is to honor and allow whatever you are feeling , as you are feeling it.

You are building layers of trusting you.

When you are ready turn over, remain uncovered.

When there is nothing to hide under where can you hide?

You are ready to let go. To trust...

Your partner keeps eye contact with you, resting the palms of their hands above your heart.

Breathe...feel the touch ..

Nice post!! -MOD EDIT - ADOLESCENT HUMOUR REMOVED-
No offence :original: Sending to girlfriend now as last time i lay face down she tried to suffocate me!

Céline 02-02-2010 04:36 PM

Re: The art of touch

Are you sure she was suffocating you?

it wasnt your ego being released due to being in such a submissive and giving position?

Physical reactions to emotional connections speak of deep need.

I think you are a very good writer :thumb_yello: no joke It most certainly does not upset me, but the lack of other posters made me want to respond in case embarassment was indeed a factor. i guess it was a clumsy ice breaker :) Please forgive any offence, it wasnt my intention. Your perception is correct, i do often communicate with humour (so called). Have you read Ingo Swanns psychic sexuality? I think this is a neglected topic well worth developing.

what went by a few min. ago in the chat room....

Fred: The "scariest" and most exciting thing a man can do is look a woman straight in the eye, and tell the truth + listen. Absolutely magic, and yet we run like hell, more often.

Celine: yes..i know. The best part..is a man, who takes the risk and is usually well rewarded.

No offense taken...humor is often a deflector for intense emotional connections.

people rarely realize that this is an important technique as described here by Celine...if you are able to "surrender" it can be emotionally rewarding, soothing, relieving stress...

Re: The art of touch

There is nothing better for a man to feel his woman`s warm hands on his body while gently massaging him and without going into sex afterwards.
Same thing reverse.

We often are banalized to the core and we miss a lot because of that.
It`s true art to be above physicality and yet to enjoy it in right time.

Also when it reaches the point when you can feel the love in the air during the process and without desire to move or do anything sexually ,then you enter into different dimension where many fear to thread.

:wub2:

then I am proud to know you...

This dimension is there but so few ever go into it even if it`s under their nose.
Here you are naked and not ashamed, here you feel truly. Here when you love, tops of the trees are singing with you and wind is doing backing vocals.

Often i get upset seeing world around me. I want to share the light and love and I do it... but just as some start to feel again and to see again, fear creeps in and like card castle ,they tear down... It`s so frustrating. But heart is warmed when you meet and see again your fellow souls, when a soul lives and shares love, pure love.

Rare moments but precious above all in this world.

Re: The art of touch

Touch, an Act of Love, an Act of Appreciation. An ArtForm gifted to all, used by some and experienced by many.

http://www.tcnk.org/NK%20image%20group%20hands.jpg
The Art of Touch and the movement of Energy thru the hands, has significant impact on both
the physical and the metaphysical bodies.
LifeForce Energy ... Unconditional Love ... these are the energies
that are channeled thru the body of the Healer and exit the palms to flow into the areas in need
of assistance.
In a Chakra Cleanse, the hands stay off the body, usually 6 to 8 inches. With Hands-On healing,
the person's body is actually touched. Wherever pain is experienced, or the desire to heal a
specific malady is present, Energy is channeled thru the hands, to the areas in question.

Surrendering is the key ...yes...

its like dancing...can you complelty surrender to your partner and let them lead? not an easy thing to do for many women...

Re: The art of touch

Hi there, for me touch is a very special sense. I know that I have the ability of healing touch, I discovered it by accident and becoming conscious of it. Sometimes it's important, I think, to discern if touch is appropriate for somebody. It can release deep emotions and depending on the phase of the process, to which these emotions belong, it's being welcomed or resisted. Sometimes with anger, of being exposed to it, so to speak, by oneself and another. The transformation of pain happens only in trust and safe surroundings. If not, your own buttons are easily pushed, by the use of touch, aaaaauch.....! It's a rewarding journey of discovering, that release is not a personal thing for the witness of it. The recognition of expectations are part of that journey. At least that's my experience.

The touch of the Sun is a taboo, nowadays, it's just a fearbased manipulation, to restrict us from activating our pineal gland. By gazing in the Sun, at sunset and sundown, for 10 seconds to begin with, building up slowly every day, is a tremendous health booster, just try. This information is to be found on www.solarhealing.com by Hira Ratan Manek.

Enjoy the spring breeze!:original:
