The Men Who Stare at Goats

I´ve seen the this movie yesterday, i was suprised to know it was about remote viewing.
have you seen this movie?

Re: The Men Who Stare at Goats

Yes but it was made into buddy style comedy, to such an extent that it was silly and many who read the line at the beginning where it says more of the movie is true than you realise, could easily mistake that as a joke. Although they do mention montauk or mkultra which if anyone who hasn't heard of them before should hopefully find interesting.

I agree . It was probably a debunking job . I am pretty sure that some actors do work for the spooks . We are lucky to have here on this website the Watcher 's and James Casbolt's threads . The videos of the interview of Duncan O'Finioan also help a lot to get the real picture .

Had I note viewed the vids on this site the film would have been ****. Very few funny sketches but the inside joke kept me amused. There were a few discreet references.

Rent it on a rainy day.

If you were interested in the Hollywood version try the original TV documentary!

Jon Ronson produced and narrated a three part documentary for the BBC Channel 4 titled Crazy Rulers of the World. The three parts were titled "The Men Who Stare at Goats", "Funny Torture" and "Psychic Footsoldiers" respectively. All three parts were interesting and worth watching.

The easiest way to watch all three parts is downloading the torrent from somewhere.

I very much doubt any Hollywood actor would gamble the trappings of fame and fortune for causes that prevail or are highlighted on sites like PC. In fact if we are to believe the suggestion that black ops instigates Hollywood propaganda, which I don’t, then it’s more reasonable to say these actors are porn’s or collaborators.

I myself, as an armature writer, read sites like this for ideas. Who ever the scriptwriters is probably read a few books or some web sites and expanded upon known public domain stuff. This film is just fiction and $. Interesting to note that anyone claiming to be a super soldier will have to prove it by staring at a goat.

Nice to know the 'work product' of individuals on PC/PA is getting put to good use out there!!! :lol3::lol3::lol3: Any profit made off of posts and threads has to be split with the originator!!:thumb_yello:

It's just a big pot of mashed potatoes!!!:mfr_lol:

They should buy you a drink for the follow through of implementing action.:original: The best seller part though... you can't do it.

In a movie which Clooney starred AND directed about oil and corruption (can't remember the title) in the middle east there were a few subtle references to some of the stuff mentioned on here... One of them that made me smile was the off hand comment about until we can run a car from water... (ie Stan Meyers).

I think some actors are aware already and stay subtle OR are in on it...

The kind of energy work actors do to get into the role and the fact it is creative right brain stuff they deal with will make more than a few of them aware and have energised kundalini ... my 2p

Re: The Men Who Stare at Goats

The late great David Nivan, in his autobiography, intimated that he felt a fraud as an actor. He played himself but used other people’s words.

I'm no writer...just a hobbyist writer. I lack the imagination for a quality plot... hence reading sites to my interests. I once started a film script about free energy (detective/ thriller type thing). Something that I, as a wishful pragmatist, feel passionate about. Needless to say I didn't finish it. It genuinely was rubbish :roll1:

Dangit SteveX... and here I thought you were going to go to town and whip up a best seller. I know how about your adventures through 'time.' Self-hypnotise yourself and go meet all your old selves and ask them questions about all the things we have questions about today. The irony... "Back to the Past" to get the Truth!!!:roll1::thumb_yello:

but you know, jon ronson knows better than this, he even has some knowledge of the bilderburgers etc.and yet in the "goats" book he goes on about the terrorist hijackers on 911 etc.
I felt the need to voice my deep dissapointment with his shilliness . So can you, and it's no surprise he hung out with Stubby and Rema I guess, can't figure out their game

Re: The Men Who Stare at Goats

Seems to me like a chap (Jon Ronson) just writing books and making a few quid. I don't think he's a fully paid up member of "conspiracy". I think he uses books and sites for info or ideas. Like I said above

"I myself, as an armature writer, read sites like this for ideas. Who ever the scriptwriters is probably read a few books or some web sites and expanded upon known public domain stuff."

From that link you (Swordsmith) submitted I found this other link
http://jimschnabel.com/ronson-gets-my-goat/
Jim Schnabel says Ronson plagiarized some of his book.

On Ronsons website they have a forum
http://www.jonronson.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=1
I dare say if someone asked politly put questions Ronson would reply. There was an Alex Jones youtube link there http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqNMsz_hh34 if anyone is interested.

Yer I knew where you was coming from. I do actually have 2 flash memories of two former lives but I've not been able to expand upon them.

What I was trying to do was freak you out a little. Nicely I might add. :original: I know it's a long shot but I noticed your avatar says your from Orange County California. Well! I lived there meself for a short period 15+ years ago. I was hoping that on the off chance you might know those 2 bars I mentioned. Yes I know OC covers hundreds of square miles but stranger things have happened.

What would have made it funnier is if you did. You may have thought "gee small world. I may have spoken with this guy" :lol3: But the crazy thing is I'm actually a Brit and live in Warwickshire UK. :lmfao:

Oh well… My little joke didn’t pan out like I hoped. :sneaky2:
