I was never a fan of the Conan O'Brian show. He just never clicked with me, and I gave up watching "late nite" when Johnny left.

But I woke up last nite, and caught the last 10 minutes of his last show. After all the rumored ranckor he was supposed to, and could have dispensed, he looked straight at the camera, and said the above.

Then he went on stage and with a bunch of good friends played a pretty damned good version of Synnyrd's Freebird, live.

T'was a class act of the highest order.
