Do you hear the people sing? No? Well stick around and you will....

It is a condition of the heart. All great advances from dark to light have been driven by the heart. When the heart has ached enough, been broken enough, been shredded enough, been abused enough it is then that the heart speaks and drives mankind into heights they never imagined possible.

When we all stand as one, of one accord in one heart, we will break the shackles that bind us. It will be then that our eyes will open and be able to see through the darkness and notice that there is a light that shines bright for all humanity.

The catch? We all have to be of one heart and decide that enough is enough.

Enjoy the encore, turn it up loud and sing with it. You may just find you become emotionally stirred.

Great thread.

The Indians were one of my fave LA bands before Angelique left for Europe and points beyond... now in the Mid-West with a new project. Get the Indians CD if you can find it. ALL the songs are good. Here's the movie version of one of their songs. I'll post the official band vesion next

Listen to the words in the song.

Here's the film clip version. The actress who played "Mallory" in Natural Born Killers has a very intense (but not malisious) presence when encountered in person. Her death in the catus garden in Kalifornia hit me very personally as my grandfather meet the very same end... and just wanted a peaceful catus garden to call his own.

I Love to see the manifestation of Love .
That 's what you did on this thread.
Thank you dear Zeddo :wub2:
Oneness is so well expressed in this poem..

Inter-relationship

You are me and I am you.
Isn't it obvious that we inter-are?
You cultivate the flower in yourself
so that I will be beautiful.
I transform the garbage in myself
so that you do not have to suffer.
I support you you support me.
I am here to bring you peace
you are here to bring me joy.

When I heard this song from Les Mis. in the production in NYC, there were French foreign exchange students behind me - a whole row of them- and they were sobbing, and squealing in French. They cried the whole way out of the theater, along with a whole lot of other people. The only word I don't like is the word crusade. So easy to put a lot of other stuff onto it. Otherwise, it is stirring beyond imagination to hear this song performed live. There is nothing more powerful than live theater, IMO. LB

so happy the thread is being enjoyed
so happy that tears are being deployed
so happy that in a place of dark
we can all find a spark
of emotion

Tears are not from the cerebellum
tears are from the heart
Tears are the catalyst which lights the spark.
The one thing given to us that is in and of itself divine
is tears.

They sooth pain
they show pain
they fall at loves loss
they brim at loves gain
they well at the bed of demise
they fall at the first cry of birth

so strange are tears indeed

they carry us,
they drown us
they sustain us
they cleanse us

and finally, they are the equaliser showing that we are all spirit within a fleshly shell, having lost our way but knowing we shall ,
soon,
be free

to shed tears of only joy

Re: Do you hear the people sing? No? Well stick around and you will....

I learned long ago that a song is worth two prayers(thoughts). I’ve been singing from my heart ever since (had to my voice is only good in a choir). I’m a member of this group:
http://www.glcoherence.org/
They teach how this is done. I found this through Gregg Braden and have read his books the “Isaiah Effect” and “The God Code” to name a couple of his inspired works. So if you want to learn to sing with your heart. This could be the place to do it.
In Peace and Unity,
Roman :harp:

PS: Thanks, mudra, for sharing that song it brought tears to my eyes.
