Extreme weather forecast for So.Cal next week

"Update on coastal conditions look bad"
I just spoke with a friend that said the tornado warnings were accompanied with winds that sounded like low flying jets .Absolutely the strangest weather in that area as far as I can remember as I grew up there and I am 52

Someone is either working overtime with their haarp toy, or prophecy of 2012 is starting to come true.

This could be an interesting year at this rate.

Record cold .... earthquake directly on Port au Prince .... now this.

There will be flooding and mudslides with this kind of rainfall. Take precautions now to anyone living in this area.

This is a early prediction just for the San diego area from NOAA
I find it a bit disturbing and very unusual

I thought that was unusual too when I heard 10" were predicted! There has also been a wave of earthquakes in CA too, it'll be interesting to see if all the water has an effect on quakes with all the extra weight from the water...since the land seems so sensitive right now wonder if that will have any effect.

Of course increased frequency and magnitude of earthquakes is happening all over the world right now, especially in the Pacific Ring of Fire - which includes California.

For you weather watchers out there who are interested in monitoring the earthquake activity, the way I do it is set up a igoogle homepage and do a search for the earthquakes gadget, it should be the first usgs download. You can also download other cool things like ufodigest, other paranormal sites etc.

I've been monitoring earthquakes daily for a couple of years now and have seen a marked increase in frequency and magnitude of quakes all over, especially in the ring of fire.

I live in So Cal and have listened to the hype. It rained the better part of the day yesterday (Sunday), nothing in the way of flooding or mud slides in my location. I will update if anything newsworthy happens.

MHRD;

I'm out in Riverside, myself.

So far, about 3 hours of rain last nite.
Another couple this morning.

HUGE snoozer, ya ask me.

No. this is NOT 1969 by any means...

Yet. But as I love rain, I hope.

Well, I am in northern AZ, and we are getting hammered with huge flakes of snow mixed with rain. I am at about 5800 ft., and this is the first of 3 back to back storms being predicted. Each storm is supposed to intensify throughout the week.
