Re: Mystery object to whizz by Earth Wed.
A near-Earth object that could be human-made has just been discovered hurtling toward us. On Wednesday, the object called 2010 AL30 will fly by Earth at a distance of just 80,000 miles (130,000 kilometers). That's only one-third of the way from here to the moon — that is, very close.

What gets me thinking, hearing about something like this...
How can scientists claim to know with a good amount of certainty what objects will not hit us in the future, when they cannot identify this object in near earth orbit? Maybe stop using hubble to look at an object in the neighbours yard? :P The scientists works in mysterious ways, indeed... |
Re: Mystery object to whizz by Earth Wed.
Hi All,
I posted this http://projectavalon.net/forum/showthread.php?t=19188. If the governments knew that a ship of some sort was going to be visible - what would the cover story be? I am not suggesting that this is the case - it just got me to thinking:wink2: As I said in the other thread - if anyone gets the chance to view these objects I would love to hear about it. El |
