Berlusconi, 73, was hit in the face with a souvenir marble and metal replica of Milan's famous Gothic cathedral following a political rally and suffered a fractured nose and two broken teeth.

I thought that too when I first heard on this thread. I thought, geez I'd like to throw another, other side baby, knock out or something. Then I saw his face and it was mushed, not a punch a statue and figured he'd had enough - broken nose, teeth.

Can't say he didn't have it coming though. IMO he's a d*ck. Lots about that on ortho's Secrets of the Vatican thread here.

Also, Thanks for posting burgundia. I meant to comment, then saw the face and my initial reaction to the news changed, then I heard it on the radio, then saw another thread on the same topic with discussion starting there, then felt conflicted about where to post. Then I thought who gives a sh*t about the SOB anyway. Then I changed my mind and thought I do what's up with that guy's legal troubles anyway.

It has switched things up in Italy, according to the Italian reporter I heard on the radio. I can't remember if I posted oh yeah, then I just added some financial information (loss of immunity) to ortho's thread at the time.

So, a long winded thanks for the post :thumb_yello:
