Stop Animal Sacrifice with Palden Dorje, Ram Bomjon
 

For those who may not be aware of Ram Bahadur Bomjon, here is a little background. He is Nepalese, currently 19 years of age. On 16 May 2005, then age 15, he entered a period of meditation which he stated would last for 6 years to May of 2011, after which he will become a teacher. He meditates almost non-stop, both day and night. It is alleged that he neither eats any food nor drinks any liquid. Officials have observed him for up to 4 straight days, during which time they confirmed that he neither ate nor drank, nor did he move from his lotus position. Media have also observed him for various lengths of time. Quite extraordinary.

18-year-old Ram Bahadur Bamjan, revered by many as a reincarnation of Buddha, re-emerged from the jungle in southern Nepal, attracting thousands of devotees.

I have known of this young man .I am looking forward to hear his teachings .
I myself hold the view that animals are our friends and that a lot of unecessary blood is
shed on this planet by us " humans " slaughtering them massively.
They are endowed by sensitivity , feelings and consciousness .
The vid I posted on the empathy thread shows this clearly .

I saw a series of videos some time ago, as it was posted on Avalon....this man is amazing. I hope his teachings reach as many people as possible. I do not want even to think how many animals are slaughtered and tortured every day. It's high time to stop eating meat. it is not that hard. Start slowly eliminating mammals from your diet, then birds, etc. Soon you'll find out that even the thought of meat will be unpleasant to you...

This young man inspires me onwards......and I am looking forward to hearing his teachings once he is finished his 6yrs.

Already the skeptics are trying to discredit him......sounds like it could be another Jesus story in the making. Lets hope it doesn't end in another crucifixion.
