Re: Avatar movie
I have seen the trailer today in the cinema and the movie will be out soon (trailer says dec. 17th).
The youtube link in the previous post said "private video" so here is a new one: Avatar: The Movie (New Extended HD Trailer) Although my eldest daughter tried to get attention for this movie I didn't pay attention to it. Until now that I have seen the trailer. This movie is loaded with topics discussed on this forum: - action is off planet - the inhabitants of Pandora (:nono:) are blue colored beings - the inhabitants of Pandora look amazingly similar to reptilian like beings in 'Battle planet' - gene cloning and mixing techniques - the main character is disabled and can be medically 'repaired' (when mission is successful) - super soldiers - morphing techniques (by remote controlled bodies they act as someone else) - plot is such so you will sympathize with the Pandorians - there is even a romantic storyline woven into the war plot - war (again) over physical matter - destruction in a beautiful environment on another planet - humans calling the indigenous people 'savages' And I am quite sure there are still topics to be added ... and this is after I have seen the trailer only ! :wall: |
Re: Avatar movie
VERY eager to see this movie. I'd like to think it was inspired by insider knowledge similar to what Bob Dean reports!

Re: Avatar movie
When you look at all we talk about here. and we talk about walk-ins and then you see the short to the movie. I wonder if there isn't some alien ship where the tables are turned and they are putting clones into our environment. Kind of gives us a good perspective of whats going on with the aliens but through our eyes.

Humans are displayed as superior over aliens ... and the aliens are stuck to earth and are not helped ... Reminds me also how NASA sometimes displays photos upside down just to confuse you. |

Re: Avatar movie
I don't know how the movie finish but the natives have the right attitude, who are we to invade other worlds, other lands, other countries?
If we have defended earth 5,500,000 when it got invaded by regresive races we will be in a whole different time line Don't get me wrong I don't like fighting but we all have the right to defend ourselves Love |

A romance develops between the main character and a Pandorian which makes him decide to switch sides ... In the trailer they talk about how asymmetrical the situation is ...natives against supermachines. But by showing the right attitude they give the invaders hell. This reminds me to a scene from Bravo two zero (British SAS commando's trapped in Iraq), they are outnumbered and attacked ... Instead of fleeing they move forward and launch a successful counter attack. So, shame they show it in movies with a lot of useless killing but the moral message is powerful: you can beat anything with the right attitude/motivation. I know I already mentioned it a couple of times but this is how powerful it is: Circumstances do not MATTER ... state of being MATTERS (or manifests) (These words are from Bashar, an alleged channeled ET) |
