UN Human Rights Council...
 

The US has now joined the: UN Human Rights Council...

This is Great News. A huge step in the right direction for me.

However, Susan Rice the US ambassador to the UN, Still believed the body to be flawed and was "looking forward to working from within with a broad cross-section of member states to strengthen and reform".

This development will be interesting to follow and should help ease the minds of Americans concerned with the US' Human Rights record.
