Good thread, what this forum is all about.

Things may just get so bad for some people that they will have no choice but to be left homeless.

Now personally if i was homeless i wouldnt be hangin on a street cornor scavenging food, theres much easier ways to survive in nature.

Being prepared in every way possible, makes very good sense. I bought two full-packs of survival rations last year, one each for my wife and myself. These are stocked for a months' worth out in the wilds. Also supplemented with another months' worth of protein bars, fishing gear, water purification supply, and a complete medical kit. Weapons - goes without saying - a 12-gauge shotgun is great to pack along for this.

Something else to include: Potassium Iodide tablets. Radiation protection for the thyroid, thymus, internal organ. Protection (for those which survive) from fallout after a nuclear fire-storm.

And don't leave your civil behavior behind, we will need to rebuild after.
