Why us??
 

Just wondering why the people using this and similar forums are wide awake when all those around are still sleeping?? :sleep_1:
What makes us different to them??

Why are you awake when everyone else is asleep??


I've never been normal so I guess I never went to sleep :naughty:

Probably because we stand on the line, we are open minded to such things and as such, take an avid interest in all things un-natural as i suppose they were not meant to be.

Maybe we more sensitive and un-shy to hearing, seeing and learning just what really is going on.

That's a good question Swanny! I've never fitted in with the mainstream either and have always questioned everything.

Plato, the Greek Philosopher, must have felt the same in his time due to saying the following:-

ever since I was 5 I new I was different things never sat right .Always asking about why we have to do the things we did , answer thats the way its done. ppl telling me I had a chip on my shoulder I just thought I was right,still do .Gets me in all sorts of trouble, try telling ppl about this site, well you can imagine what I get . But with whats going on in the world I'm beginning to be proved right , now I'm getting whats that site you look at ? ppl waking up:thumb_yello:

Maybe we are all a minor part of the Indigo because of the timeline we were born, I too have many good close friends , some I have awakened part, to skeptical to they just still laugh at me. I keep consistant with information to them and stand my ground. I believe what i believe. Good thread, but the most important message in this thread is that many if not all of us now realize we are not alone.

I would like to add I do run into people from time to time and something will trigger a question , and the response is the same , I already know, it may be on a different level but there's similar perceptions . This doesn't happen alot but it has a few times.

Were all feeding off one another on this site and it's challanging at times, imformational at times and amusing at times, but the really cool thing is individuals from all around the world are on this site ahving simialr dialogs but from different parts of the world with no relation to one another except here, that imakes the connection very special on such passionate subjects when you really think about it. I for one am very gald to have met many on this board. Even if we agree to disagree.

I suspect that the reason is that this is not the first time our individual souls have been here on earth. The more often we are here, we become subconsciously aware that things are not as they seem. Another reason is that the 'others' are unable to accept and face the facts.

As Dolores Cannon points out in her book 'Between Death and Life,' between our times on earth, we are accompanied by a group of souls with whom we are in tune with. This contact is continued in our times on earth and these souls may be friends we have, or even family members.

It occurs to me that we are kindred souls who know and care for each other and thus, when it is our time on earth, we have agreed to spread the truth among those unenlightened ones who are prepared to listen and learn.

Remember, for us, the obvious is not always the truth. Sometimes the truth, as we know, is hidden but can never be destroyed.

For me it started with just having an open mind and not just accepting the norm.
I bothered to look deeper into things instead of just seeing the norm.
I took the time to research and read some books instead of watching TV and reading the newspaper like most asleep people do.
But I think it all comes down to just being open minded and willing to learn things
that others think is abnormal and things that others wouldn't accept as a possibility.

I've never fit in with the norm (a deaf man doing a radio show? Most of my friends are like "WTF, man?") and never will fit in with the norm.

All my life I've strived to be different and with a lot of success.

It's was only natural that I found this community (thanks to a really good friend) and become a part of it.

Several reason for "why us"

1. We came in this time with a Spiritual Agenda. (Probalby after several lifetimes of some sort of spiritual enquiry)

2. Our life was so damm miserable, we sort for a better one.

3. A tragety catapulted us out of three D complacency.

4. A near death experience.

There is probably many more reason but there's four

Maybe we're like kids going round and round on a ghost train at the fairground. After a while we realised the things we see aren't real and started looking for the machinery.

Swanny I'm guessing your maybe 30-ish, or maybe late 30's going on 40. Myself I'll be 50 this year. To your "why us" question, I was wondering what the average age of Avalonians might be. I do see a good mix of ages here, so that kind of hints to an awareness. Any input?:original:

Another view......

1) Knowledge= General intake and retainage of all things.
2) Experience= Living long enough to gain knowledge and put it to use.
3) Life Plans = Being prepared with the knowledge and experience gained.
4) Choice = There's only two, right, or wrong.

1. I was born.

2. The nurse dried me off and cleaned me up.

3. I started walking.

4. I started asking questions.

5. I got frustrated that many of my questions couldnt be answered.

6. Started looking for the answers to life.

7. Started to find them. Found sites like this and people like you guys.

8. Tried in vain to open other peoples eyes.

Still on number eight. Believe it or not its been the most difficult step so far.

Count me in on this one. I have always believed in this. Always believed there was life on other planets and in the universe. Always believed there we ET``s visiting us. So this whole awakening thing really just fits.


Why us.... why not..

If we were asked to help a friend in need we certainly would. Well the earth needs us right now and we have all agreed to help.

Good question Swanny: try this answer

High frequency spiritual pulses of light started to be transmitted to the right-brain hemisphere in 1999.

This has caused "burnout" in certain individuals....ie you can't go on as you previously did. That's how i came to question the "truth" of the media and started to de-program.

These individuals (like me) have been unable to shield themselves from the light pulses...the body then tells the individual it is not aligned with the cosmic plan that is coming to its conclusion soon, and the body refuses to go on as it was before.

Essentially its a wake up call, an initial deterioration by forcing change on you, resulting from the incoming healing energies, leading ton new spiritual realms.

I burnt out, listened to new vibrations, and here i am, renewed, and ready for the change that is coming.
