While spirit channelings have been the foundation for many spiritual teachings, most metaphysical movies such as "The Secret" and "What the Bleep Do We Know" considered it a taboo to feature them.

The team behind "Tuning In" movie obviously felt otherwise and followed up on where others have left. The feature length documentary showcases six engaging American channelers and their non-physical counterparts: Lee Carroll - channel for Kryon, Shawn Randall - channel for Torah, Geoffrey Hoppe - channel for Tobias, Wendy Kennedy - channel for the Pleiadian Collective, Darry Anka - channel for Bashar and Cosmic Lighthouse's regular contributor, John Cali - channel for Chief Joseph.

Channeling is sometimes viewed as controversial. Why is that? I listened to some Wendy Kennedy (great name!) and was quite impressed. How can you spot a good channel? Is it the persons/collectives they channel? And how does channelling reconcile with the imformation and perspective offered by James and the Wingmakers material/interview on Camelot where he gives his views on channelling?

Channelling is controversial because you only have the word of the entity being channelled that they are what they claim to be. They could be anyone or anything, and there is absolutely no way to verify their identity or motives.

I agree with this statement. That is why even though I am a natural channel I have only done it once, on accident over 12 years ago. I have now been told by someone much wiser than I that soon I will need to start to channel again. Good thing is that now I have so many good guys watching out for me, that the chances of the channeling ending up on the wrong side of the fence are now non-existent for me unless I ask for it.

The negative spirit world would like nothing more than to increase the collateral damage of thier intention. They see the numbers of people not going to negative 4th density increasing and they are cornered by this. I advise all of those who happen to read this, if you are not an accomplished shaman, or are not working with one or more of them, then stay the f--k away from channeling. If you don't you could end up one of these people that walks into a fast food resturaunt with a gun. That is how out of control it can get.

As with any information you need to use your our discernment and if you find it helpful I think in many cases it can be very useful.

I don't find any confusion in discerning the useful channeled info from the less than useful.

I've recently listened to some channeling from both Darryl Anka/Bashar and Wendy Kennedy/9D pleiadians, who are both in that Tuning In DVD.

Bashar is kind of over the top with his exuberance, but I've heard lots that's of use to me, and learned a great deal. the 9D pleiadians blew some dusty musty chunks of my mind right out of the ball park. Great stuff.

Only you can create your own knowledge. lots of channeled work hold wonderful clues to things available for understanding.

I'm finding, too, that many of the channeled works I've been experiencing, have a "timeless" quality to them, as though they bend the rules of time. So many times I've popped in a video or mp3 and hit play in a random spot, only to have exactly what I've been wondering about being dealt with. Same with some written channeled works, like Georges handbooks, the Ra stuff, etc.

I'm finding it very useful for me personally, and am finding it easy to discern the quality of the work.

I can however see the pitfalls inherent in being a channel, because I've seen some really nasty entities pulled into some peoples spaces, with awkward results. I'd be cautious about trying to channel without a complete certainty of self, and without access to a shaman or other similar type person who could help one cleans ones space again should an accident happen.

I personally have read books from channelled info which have been very helpful. I have only heard or seen actual channelling a couple of times on video or radio (the last one being Wendy Kennedy) I have also found this information very interesting and useful.
