Kind thoughts for Antaletriangle

I have had a few members contacting me regarding Antaletriangles departure, i thought it would be nice to leave a message here if you wish to just let him know he is missed.
He may be still looking in even though he is not posting.
He is one of the first members along with myself and he will be greatly missed.
And this would save me passing on all the good wishes which i have received for him since his leaving.
And perhaps this will spur him on to return.

Re: Kind thoughts for Antaletriangle

Wayne received a thumbs down on some of his posts and felt a member or members were down on him because of posting a thread which was already posted, sometimes this happens. He received some negativity from that post.
There is no competition here so lets all be adult about this.
Wayne has always been an avid poster since day one, shame to see him go, we are losing too many of our original members, lets not ruin this site it was the beginning of something extraordinary lets keep that way and stop all the bad vibes please.

I was disgusted at how he was treated, and after other events see why he has jumped. He gets my full sympathies and goodwill and a mega light egg for the future.

Absolutely Jacqui.

Re: Kind thoughts for Antaletriangle

Are there any specific examples of how he was treated bad?

I don't think of him as "Capt.Negative" and he was attaching that to his posts. Hell, I post more than he does lately so it doesn't make sense for someone to attack him for posting so much.

Hey Angle T, always enjoyed the directions you took us, don't let this be like we are all fighting for , the few minority dictating or intimidating the majority. Your a charter member of the Avalon Family, thats special and it's important your around . Take a few days and reconsider. I'm pulling for ya too!

I must admit I have gotten into the habit of skipping most 'news' items and along with those many of Antale's... nevertheless, he dug up some real gems and furthermore he's a great person so it saddens me to hear that there was cause for him to leave...

As they say, get yer ar*e back on here and then down to the Ave... Swanny misses you. ;)

A shocker to hear that news...like a death in the family...

Is change the only thing we have to look forward to in life?

Lets hope its a temporary "abstinence".

Re: Kind thoughts for Antaletriangle

When considering departing, usually all you need is a break to let your perspective adjust. I hope Antaletriangle does just that and comes back ASAP.

We are all being tested by strong energetic changes in our environment. From time to time it will be important for each of us to take a step back, and more than once too.

It is entirely wrong for any of us to be spending a disproportionate amount of our time here on a forum anyway. I see many examples at PA where people have realised that.

I am speaking from experience, having just returned from 3 days breathing the clean air of the blue mountains :)

Re: Kind thoughts for Antaletriangle

I am still picking myself up off the floor. This must be a break. It can't be permanent. When I saw Antaletriangle connected with a thread...I knew it would be worthwhile. Listen...I think we are in the middle of a spiritual war...and I tend to think that alternative thinkers are more at risk of burnout than the general population. Some of us may be especially supernaturally targeted...even though I think we all are...to a certain extent. Many people here seem to be trying to solve the world's problems...and are very good at doing Atlas imitations. Antaletriangle...when you return...you might want to rename yourself...AtlasTryAngle...it would fit. I worry that departures can sometimes be the result of threatenings, foul-play, etc. Revealing damaging information about corrupt people and organizations might conceivably precipitate attempts to stop that flow of information. If A thread-starter or poster is getting hit with a lot of flack...then they must be over the target. BOMBS AWAY!

Take a couple of weeks off. Exercise in nature every day. Listen to some quality music. Lay off the alternative stuff(too much upsetting information and discussion can drive a man to drink). And then GET BACK TO WORK!:mad3:

Like I said in one of his posts, Antaletriangle was the ultimate Avalon Researcher (with do respect to the real Avalon Researchers). He always managed to post something interesting to read.

Hope it's only a "Kit-Kat" break.

Susan, saying it is a moderator, but not naming them, is something that I object to - causing members to look askance at each member of our small moderating team.
I also object to your very harsh public judgment and chastisement of this very young lad, Jack. I've seen you do that with other forum members and their objections to it. None of us are perfect yet - we all learn or relearn lessons every day.

One of the biggest problems our world faces is a shut-down in communication when human interaction goes wrong. Since I know some inside scoop on this mod issue, that has now become a public matter, I will tell some of what I know that will hopefully help shed some light on both sides of the issue.

If any of you had been following Jack's recent posts, he was trying to steer the forum in a more positive, proactive direction. But like when I was trying to get something going to update the forum guidelines (esp the one about networking with each other when money is involved, but no guidelines have yet been changed) Jack wasn't too successful at getting other mods to back his project, and he suddenly acted on his own with a post to Wayne, the contents of which I have no knowledge. From my perspective and private communications with Jack, I saw that in his youthful exuberance and excitement over the amazing results of his own personal "thinking only positive thoughts" campaign, he lost or missed the ying and the yang balance of the matter, and very much offended Wayne and whoever else Wayne shared that private email with.

Jack took quite a few hits for this mistake/foopah in mod chat. Almost every moderator sent an apology to Wayne for what happened. Now Jack has not joined us in mod chat since this happened, he has not posted on the forum since the 14th and has not signed in to the forum since the afternoon of the 20th. I myself have decided when feeling snubbed or misunderstood - at least a dozen times - that I really aught to not come back here anymore. And when we fall into that "divide" mentality we are ripe to be conquered. Will we choose to evolve or devolve?

I think Jack meant well, thinking he was acting in the highest good for all concerned, he just failed to look at the other side of his PM to Wayne. How many such mistakes did you all make in your teens and early 20's? This reminds me of the Hawaiian healing technique - "I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. I love you."

I hope Wayne and Jack and many others will return and join us once again, but I also know sometimes we just need to move on to other things.

For those that want to see human communication skills evolve, here's a great site:
The Center for Nonviolent Communication
http://www.cnvc.org/
Quote:

The Center for Nonviolent Communication is a global network of people and communities committed to living and teaching NVC to resolve conflict and meet the needs of all people.

CNVC leaders have helped negotiate peace between individuals, families, communities, political factions and nations. We have facilitated workshops around the world that help people learn how to create environments that support powerful life-serving systems.

Have you ever wondered if there was a way all people could live in peace? Have you ever longed to reach a point of understanding with someone you care about when you find yourselves divided by disagreements or differences? Maybe you’ve longed to express what you really feel or what is important to you? Or, have you ever wanted to foster agreement with agroup of people who was unable to agree with another group—especially when the disagreement became life-threatening?

If so, you may be interested in learning about Nonviolent Communication.

What it is…..
Simply put, Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a way of relating to ourselves and others, moment to moment, free of past reactions. By learning to identify your needs and express them powerfully, as well as to bring understanding to the needs of others, you can stay connected to what is alive in you and create a life that it is more fulfilling.

We that were in the "know" new it was only Jack...but again he ment no harm...I believe Ant know this as well...I think he is only on vacation and will be back...too much is made of this...Sunday is his birthday, and he probably is taking a holiday :thumb_yello:

Re: Kind thoughts for Antaletriangle

It wasn't Jacks place to send a message like that off his own back.

I'm sorry but far too many people here are getting too high and mighty about what can and cannot be posted because they don't like it.

If a poster throws up what they think is a tissue of lies, expose it for what it is and hope they leave. If however the poster is just posting things outside your normal orbit and it breaks no terms and conditions, tough luck - its not your place to say anything, just don't click and read or add anything. I feel too many self appointed censors are at work here on Avalon.
