Today, like every other day,
we wake up empty and frightened. Don't open the door to the study and begin reading. Take down a musical instrument. Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground. sufi mystic - jelaluddin rumi - 13th century Love Always mudra |

To put the world right in order,
we must first put the nation in order; To put the nation in order, we must first put the family in order; To put the family in order, we must first cultivate our personal life; We must first set our hearts right. confucius Love Always mudra |

Re: The Sanctuary
At the center of the universe is a
loving heart that continues to beat and that wants the best for every person. Anything we can do to help foster the intellect and spirit and emotional growth of our fellow human beings, that is our job. Those of us who have this particular vision must continue against all odds. Life is for service. mister rogers neighborhood - fred rogers - 1928-2003 Love Always mudra |

Re: The Sanctuary
There are no more maps, no more creeds, no more philosophies. From here on in, the directions come straight from the Divine. The Curriculum is being revealed millisecond by millisecond- invisibly, intuitively, spontaneously, lovingly. As on of Thomas Merton's monks has it, "Go into your cell and your cell will teach you everthing there is to know." Your cell. Yourself.

Re: The Sanctuary
Spiritual progress is not measured by phenomena or altered states of consciousness. Know that you are on the path as you become the observer of the moments of deep peace and trust. Unlock the recognition that All Is Truly Well! By recognizing the Divine Perfection in everything, you will find Union, in all its manifest perfection. ~~ Sri Ram Kaa Blessings lightbeing |
Re: The Sanctuary
No matter how long you may keep trying, struggling, striving, wanting, and seeking, you will one day come to the One Way that is easy and sure. You have the right to walk in the hard way as long as you choose; but when you are tired of wasting time, when you have fallen and bruised yourself to the point of giving up, when you have proven that man is a 'broken reed' and not worthy to be depended upon, when you have satisfied yourself as to your own weakness, and when you are convinced that there is no way out, then you will find the way in, and you will find it to be an easy way, filled with love and peace- the secret place where wisdom, courage, health and strength abound. Then you will begin to live. From 1932 until 1954 Lloyd Arthur Meeker wrote and spoke using the pen name Uranda. The name Uranda means "He who radiates the harmonizing ray." Love Always mudra |
Re: The Sanctuary
Love yourself and be awake - Today, tomorrow, always. First establish yourself in the way, Then teach others, And so defeat sorrow. To straighten the crooked You must first do a harder thing - Straighten yourself. You are your only master. Who else? Subdue yourself, And discover your master. Buddha Blessings lightbeing |

I asked him if he would hold regular internet classes to help people practice operating from that viewpoint. I believe the discipline and routine of attending instructions from a master makes for real progress. It is the "pure doing" that "translates" one. http://www.energypowerhealing.com/ |

Re: The Sanctuary
Once you have the View, although the delusory perceptions of samsara may arise in your mind,
you will be like the sky; when a rainbow appears in front of it, it's not particularly flattered, and when the clouds appear, it's not particularly disappointed either. There is a deep sense of contentment. You chuckle from inside as you see the façade of samsara and nirvana; the View will keep you constantly amused, with a little inner smile bubbling away all the time. - Dilgo Kyentse Rinpoche Love Always mudra |
