Karen, it shows your are a very popular person here. The love we are all sending to you i feel will help you get some sleep. I could say lots of things about trying different technics regarding sleep etc, but i'm sure you've tried them all.

Hello Karen, I have been thinking about you and wondering how you are feeling.

I posted the Emerging Angels thread with you in mind, as it referenced sleep problems people are having, myself included. After a week of not sleeping I had to keep telling myself this can't last forever, I felt like the walking dead!

Anyway, had two nights of much better sleep and my brain is functioning again.

So to add to my previous post, when I had no energy to put two words together coherently, thank you for all you do here. I am sure it gets quite exhausting and I know you do it with a lot of love and care. If we did not have people such as yourself we would not have a place like Avalon so you are such an important and needed person to make this happen. I couldn't do what you do, first and foremost because I am not computer savvy, still don't know how to put those lovely pictures inside a post or to upload a full video! But we do what we can with what we got.

Thanks again sweet soul....I send you much love and peace and friendship.

Hey Truth,

I was feeling a lot better yesterday after Tango shared some stuff with me about diverticulitis and to eat cream. So I had a pint of whipping cream for dinner two nights ago instead of broccoli. Since cutting out all fruits and veges I feel so much better. My gut is no longer on a rampage.

I got a couple of hours sleep last night but woke up at 6:30 to the hideous smell of Pantene hair care products wafting through the heating ducts. I had a gut ache, head ache and racing pulse - a multiple chemical sensitivity reaction. There was no escape from the air I had to breath - every room in the house was permeated with it, and it was freezing cold outside. I went into my office, closed the heating duct, opened windows and turned on fans and the electric heater.

My 14 year old great niece, had spent the night and I have gone around and around with my mom for the last 4 years trying to get this house scent free. My latest was to buy unscented shampoo and conditioner when I was in Portland - but this brand is drying out everyone's hair too much, so the niece used the Pantene. Then everyone thinks I am psycho hanging my head out the window gasping for a breath of unscented air.

I've spent the morning looking for mail-order fragrance-free, non-drying products. What people don't realize is how toxic most of this stuff is and that we, the ones with multiple chemical sensitivity, are like canaries in the coal mine warning people that the human body is simply going on overload from all the chemicals. It's time to stop polluting, start cleaning up our act, and stop being so dumbed-down about everything.

So many lovely replies here - I can't really respond very well since I am trying to stay away from the computer.

Avid, I have never heard of colloidal silver being a cure for MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity). If it is then that would make 16% of the population that struggles with it very, very, happy to find something so easy.

For me this is not a case of curing this "ailment". I think I have a right to be able to breathe fragrance-free air, especially in the place where I live, work and sleep.

I'm sensitive to some fragrances. Some peoples cologne/perfume can seem to make me gasp for oxygen. And some of my ex-girlfriend's scented candles bothered more than others. Dear Karen,

I'm sad to know that you've been sick lately. Be strong. Set aside the work first, including the requests for help from Avalon. Rest and recuperate. You have been helping others since the forum went online last year. All those requests for help might have weakend your system.

So far, my horrible tummy trouble seems to be healed.

Thank you Tango for all you did both in meditation and for the creamy diet recommendations. I got a decent 6 hours of sleep last night, but finally gave up on getting more than that. Anyway, doing much better thank you all so much for the love and care!

Did you ever think, maybe God has a mission for you that is keeping you alert?
Me happened such sometime, I was alert and very active in an issue, even very tired. I couldn't sleep, something was keeping me not sleep. After I finished that issue, I was able sleep and rest perfectly.
