Unfortunately, IMHO, Kucinick could have been the one who'd do that, if ever given a chance. But there's no such a thing as a 'perfect candidate'. Only a few, rare ones, 'remotely close' enough to our expectations.

There's a huge wave of optimism washing out all over the planet now, though, after 8 years of visions of hell. In my country, like in most countries, the people and the midia were visibly touched.

My take on Obama is more in terms of what he represents as a meme, to the collective, more than anything else. No one can deny the historic magnitude of a black man ( or almost black, or almost white, whichever color people categorize races / melanine) being raised to the status of Chief of State of the most powerful Nation in the planet.


Symbolically, despite his actions, his elevation represents the beginning of the healing of polarities.

Just IMO.

Howdy TruthSayer,

I wish I could share your unwavering faith in this man, but I have seen to much of the status quo from him.

What I'm hoping for now is that he was just "playing the game" so to speak, and he will begin to surprise us all in a good way.
Although it is a sad state of affairs when we must hope that a politician is deliberately keeping quiet on very important issues in order to gain office.

I hope to hear him call for a repeal of patriot act 1 and 2.

I hope to hear him call for a real investigation of 9/11.

I hope to hear him speak about the corrupt Fed.

I hope to hear him say he will repeal the ominous presidential directives that will soon be at his disposal.

I hope to hear him explain or denounce his ZB connection.

I hope to hear him change his aggressive and misguided foriegn policy. (God help the people of Pakistan in the next 6 months.)

I hope all of that w/ everything in me, but I'm not crossing my fingers just yet.

However, the huge turnout and postive vibrations have left me feeling very optimistic and hopeful for the human race.

I didn't expect to feel this way a few days ago though.

I wrote this thread this moring feelling very happy and hopeful.

The one thing that I have to say about all that I've heard, is that words spoken or written are affirmations. I didn't vote for Obama or any other Illuminati canidate, but JFK came from a pretty slimy background, but he did try to change things. Be careful what you say because we are creating our future and you never truly not what is in a man's heart, especially after the woman who raised him has just died. Sometimes that can have a profound effect, even a life changing one on a man.

Watch him like a hawk, but give him a chance. Maybe he will surprise us and do the right thing. There is always a chance...Tao

The guy you refer to must be some sort of demi-god-i have never known politicians have an answer to spirituality-i can see a majority of people becoming entangled in some sort of ecstatic worship to a man elected by people.People should be careful here and discern-i feel this is blowing out of proportion-is this what people worship?The politician who came closest to anything of righteousness was Martin luther king and he was only a man and not to be worshipped.I don't know about all of this-i am remaining vigilant and aware;never take your guard down on such matters.All in all the bankers financed both sides of the same game-history is there to be learnt from and not always necessarily repeated.I hope better things come from this,in the meantime i'm not getting clouded by all of the hype,reason and faculty are amongst many things what maketh man.
