Swordsmith...

i dont like attacks of any kind.. refrain yourself from stating your opinions that have nothing to do with this thread please...

Re: March 8th International Woman's Day

i think my comments have everything to do with this thread and furthermore to this forum in general ,mein capitan. If it's a choice between censoring me or banning me, just ban me and leave the posts, it's more honest .

Thank you Luminary for your openness.
I think Bill should be informed about all of this.
Many members feels the same.
If Avalon become a private field of few people, than it will not be a good place to be here.

Greetings

Re: March 8th International Woman's Day

Hi justpeter,

Be careful what you wish for there my friend. It's like a spot, it all starts out very small, a little irritating to begin with but not enough to bother you. Right?

Then you decide to prod it. You just had to prod it didn't you? Even though you knew you shouldn't.

Then one fine day, when you least expect it, when you wake up and look at your face in the mirror, POW! A huge festering spot that will destroy your plans for the day (or night).

So, now we have "Womens' Day", "Mothers' Day", a bastardized "Valentines' Day", "Birthday", "Anniversary of when you met", "Wedding Anniversary", just to name but a few. Forget any of those my friend and that is the beginning of the end.

By saying that men have the other 364 days of the year is now going to be a challenge for them. I think you may have stirred the sleeping beast!

As a bloke who likes to have a quiet life, all I can say is, "Thank you very much!".

Best regards,

Steve

HEY>>>> What's hiding unde the cake? Luminari's disappearing post?http://projectavalon.net/forum/showt...t=20842&page=6

Though it was nice to see the pictures restored on this thread, (and they really are much more inspiring than the bland comic book nonsense what was pre-approved for our consumption ), it seems a little honesty has been rewarded with words being taken out of mouths.
This is not at all good and speaks volumes for what this place is all about , it's beyond compromised if this is how things get done.

Anyhow, the cake was hilarious.

If this post disappears, so shall I, no great loss but this forum seriously needs some judicious accupuncture from time to time or its gonna die, maybe it's too late anyhow. And how about anchor's disappearing post in support of Luminari? Someone gonna tell us this another time- LYIN' or sumpin?
yeah that would be it.

swordsmith 03-12-2010 02:40 PM

Re: March 8th International Woman's Day

thank you for restoring the post. Removing posts is a form of a lie. Editing the truth implies we have no ability to discern what the truth is. This is not the place I wish to encounter such nanny state behaviour, though I have come to expect it.
We are not children here in case it needs saying. I've brought up 6 children and never found the need to resort to such tactics. We can all learn from the truth, even though some fear to speak it or even uphold it.

Re: March 8th International Woman's Day

This thread is about international Woman's Day...

So much fighting over absolute nonsense.

I'm upset that Turkey is moving towards Sharia Law, the Taliban is negotiating to end the war, do any of you understand what that means?

Quote:

According to the Sharia, despite declarations of the equality of the sexes before God, women are considered inferior to men, and have fewer rights and responsibilities. A woman counts as half a man in giving evidence in a court of law, or in matters of inheritance. Her position is less advantageous than a man’s with regard to marriage and divorce. A husband has the moral and religious right and duty to beat his wives for disobedience or for perceived misconduct. A woman does not have the right to choose her husband, or her place of residence, to travel freely or have freedom in her choice of clothing. Women have little or no autonomy and are deemed to need the protection of their fathers, husbands or other male relatives throughout their lives. Any conduct that undermines the idea of male supremacy will fall foul of the Sharia.
If you are going to fight, put it to a useful cause...

Imagine if you were in Iran right now these 10 things would only be a dream...

Quote:

Maryam Rajavi’s Views on Women’s Rights

1. In the future Iran, all personal freedoms concerning women have to be recognized, including the freedom to choose one's clothing, freedom of opinion, religion, employment and travel.

2. We believe in complete gender equality in social, political, cultural and economic arenas.

3. Women must have equal share in the society's political leadership.

4. Women will be completely free to choose husbands and marry.

5. Women's equal rights to divorce will be recognized.

6. Polygamy is banned.

7. Physical, sexual and psychological violence against women in the work place, in educational centers, in the household and elsewhere would be considered a crime.

8. For women who are subjected to violence there would be judicial remedies.

9. Any sexual exploitation under whatever pretext are banned.

10. Civil laws will be drafted based on international conventions about the rights and freedoms of women and specifically the Convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women and the declaration on the elimination of violence against women.

The 8th is a day to remember what has already been accomplished and the other 364 days, keep working for something new to celebrate on the next one...

Re: March 8th International Woman's Day

What a sad state of things that women should wait for a one day in a year and celebrate as their own...
What a bloody communist propaganda...

See what communism made of China?
A world factory ,a terrible place for hundreds of millions.
Russia?
Once the most potent nation in the world - devastated by communism.
Eastern Europe?
Poland,Checz Republic,Slovakia ,Serbia,Croatia,Bosnia,Romania etc...

Deliberately made poor countries.

All in the name of communism AKA Satanism....

And they were those who brought 8th March -for women...
What a C***P !
