Hi Everyone,
My favourite words are, wait for it, Contronyms. These are words where the same word means the exact opposite, depending on how you use it. For example, "dust" which means to put fine particles on something, or to remove fine particles from something. Or the word "fast" which means moving quickly, or stationary. Of course there are lots of them, far too many to post here, but I think you get the jist. Best regards, Steve |
